During my recent stay at Pondok Alam Bukit in Bali, I discovered a tranquil homestay perfectly balancing luxury and budget-friendly value. The spacious room with a comfortable bed and an enticing view of the rice terraces was a calming retreat after long days of exploring - and let's not forget the open-air bathroom experience, which added a unique charm. What truly stood out was the attention given by Ketut, our host. He efficiently arranged various excursions, allowing us to dive deeper into old Bali. Ketut's assistance in planning made our exploration seamless. Breakfast on our terrace was delightfully prepared, making each morning feel special. Though the room lacked air conditioning, the fan was sufficient due to the gentle hillside breeze. the homestay's location allowed for a peaceful environment while being just a short walk from the remarkable Tirta Gangga Water Palace.
